In Giantess, Naarm-based experimental jazz trio The Frank Scenario weave an intuitive sonic path through a collection of poetically composed structures for improvisation.

Giantess is the name of two compositions in the collection whose harmonic language emerges from Liv’s preoccupation with the giant steps harmonic architecture. rather than reciting the original chordal structure, these works organically explore elements of its harmonic language through structured improvisation and the trio’s shared sonic vocabulary.
